Charles D. "Chuck" Pierce is an ordained minister and serves as President of Glory of Zion International Ministries in Denton, Texas. While Pierce's own ministry focuses on prophecy, much of his activity focuses on supporting other ministries in the apostolic movement. Pierce travels and speaks throughout the world, and has produced many teaching books, articles, tapes and videos . He has co-authored eleven books including The Future War of the Church and the Worship Warrior.[1]
Pierce has a degree in Business from Texas A&M, and has done work at the University of North Texas toward a Master's degree in Cognitive Systems. He has a Doctorate of Practical Ministry from the (unaccredited) Wagner Leadership Institute, which was founded by C. Peter Wagner.
Additionally, Pierce is a prominent member of the International Council of Apostles (ICA), of which Wagner is the founder and Chancellor. The ICA describes itself as "a professional society of apostles" who possess "the authority to establish the foundational government of the church."
He resides with his wife Pamela Pierce and their six children in Denton, Texas.[1]
